eee! I love that stunning face, the fur texture, and the paw! I can even see the details in the hock area of the leg that a lot of people (including me ) neglect or don't care to include when drawing most canines! Your mom MUST be proud! This is great! I also love that you referenced a photo but didn't replicate it! I do that a lot actually! I'm not sure if it's more challenging or less challenging than replicating a photo exactly, but I like to keep the reference is just a back-up not the ONE THING that I'm relying on when I draw! ^^
Thank you so so much! That's honestly too kind of you, even though we've known each other for a while now, I still get a buzz being able to talk to you, let alone you commenting on my work! Yeah, I think she liked it, I wasn't expecting squeals of joy or anything as my parents don't really understand art xD I mean, they're supportive, but they don't really get how much effort is put into it, but that's fine by me, as long as she thought it was cute! And yeah, I'd be lost without refs! *bows to dA stock accounts* I don't technically need them, but for my full pieces I tend to use them for anatomy and things c: I love the anatomy you give your wolves, if I could choose to have any artist's style, I'd SO have yours! C: Oh, and sorry if I don't reply very quickly, I hadn't realised that with more watchers comes more comments and replies, so things have begun to pile up a bit! >.< Also, I'm tired and need to go to bed Night night haha!
this has a nice perspective and the wolf itself is beautiful, I like the colors. However you need to work on the tree leaves as they're a bit too 'fake' if you will and kind of detract from the rest of the piece, make them a bit more realistic looking and you'll have a nice work of art here.
My favourite of yours so far (: I really like this one!!! Specially those fur strokes. The background is well detailed, except for those trees, maybe taking off the lineart and adding a bit more of detail, thatīd make it look far better!! anyways, it is a spectacular work
